Dear Member, The Indian Association is pleased to invite you to our series of talks by eminent persons on the theme of 'Values and Modernity', which the IAG hopes would inform and inspire the younger generation in particular and equip them with tools to deal with modern life's challenges. Dr. A.L.V. Kumar will be in Geneva to lead the International Yoga Day activities at the U.N, we have the pleasure to host a talk on “Present Changing Reality” on Wednesday 27 June 2018 at Quakers Hall starting 18:15 hrs. Dr. Kumar is an authority on the science of yoga and its diverse systems, an inspirational yoga and meditation teacher and an award-winning scientist. His teaching is informed by his extensive experiential and theoretical knowledge, developed through his education in more than 37 schools of Hatha yoga and 50 traditions of meditation and progressed through decades of self-practice. He has taught over 100,000 people in India as a public service, focusing on free public health and yoga awareness workshops that address the growing levels of lifestyle related diseases. Dr. Kumar has been honored with the Homi J. Bhabha award for his excellent contribution in the field of Nuclear Science & Technology and Rajiv Gandhi Excellence award for his meritorious services in the field of Yoga

Looking forward to seeing you, IAG Executive Committee Bus no. 10 \ Tram 14, 18 (stop – Bouchet) If you take the tram, you have to cross a small road. As you get down from the bus, you will see a small coffee shop and Centre Chrétien de Bouchet/Librarie EAU-VIVE in front of you. On the left hand side of the coffee shop, you will see a small one-way street going up. This street is called Charles GEORG. Go straight. At the end of the street, you enter Avenue Mervelet. Number 13 is on your left. The place is called United Nations Quakers Office. This is a two-story house with two gates. You have to enter through the wide gate, walk a bit and enter the building. The hall is situated on the ground floor.
