    Dear Member

The Indian Association is pleased to invite you to our series of talks by eminent persons on the theme of 'Values and Modernity', which the IAG hopes would inform and inspire the young and old generation in particular and equip them with tools to deal with modern life's challenges.

Mrs. Radhika Santhanakrishnan, founding member of Chennai Breast Cancer Center will be in Geneva and we have the pleasure to host a talk on “Breast Cancer – what you need to know?” on Sunday 16 June at Ferme Sarasin, Salle C105 starting 14:45 hrs.

Mrs. Radhika is a breast cancer survivor, 8 years have passed since first she encountered breast cancer.  While in hospital dealing with the experience of her own breast cancer treatment, she became acutely aware of the lack of awareness and disparities in cancer care. At this crucial moment in life, she started Penn Nalam - which means Women's Health in Tamil, a unit of Sri Dhanvantri trust with the support of her family members. Two main objectives became clear to her:

    • To create awareness about breast cancer and bring world class treatment facility to women in India.
    • To provide an atmosphere that induces path breaking discovery to prevent, detect and cure breast cancer.

Mrs. Radhika will share her journey and envisioned drive to improve diagnostics, treat options and supportive care possible for breast cancer.

Extra-ordinary afternoon awaits you, come with friends and family
