On the auspicious occasion of the 80th Anniversary of India's Independence, The Permanent Mission of India, Consulate General of India in Geneva, and the Indian Association Geneva cordially invites you and your families to the flag hoisting ceremony on Saturday, 15th August 2026, at 09.00 hrs at Permanent Mission of India, Avenue Appia 21, 1292 Pregny - Chambesy, Geneva
Ambassador Arindam Bagchi, Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations and other International Organizations, will hoist the national flag. The ceremony will be followed by singing of National Anthem, reading of excerpts from President of India Address,cultural programme and quiz.
