Meet Masala Coffee- a hot, spicy brew that is currently on fire!
Masala Coffee is the magical product of the coming together of eight songwriters, artists and dreamers on a journey to tap into India’s rich musical and poetic heritage. Having played in multiple locations nationally and internationally, Masala Coffee are capturing hearts all over the world!
Masala Coffee started as the vision of Varun Sunil, the band's backbone – the lead percussionist. It is set apart for its powerful voice – Sooraj Santhosh. Its rich sound is the amalgamation of powerful vocals, energetic percussion, crazy guitar skills, experimental as well as traditional and sometimes ethnic melodies which are tied together with the grace of the violin.
Masala Coffee was born in late 2014 and shot to YouTube stardom through their performances on the Indian network, Kappa TV's show, Music Mojo. Their catchy arrangements of popular folk songs is what endeared them to the hearts of many!
Masala Coffee have carved a niche for themselves over the past few years and continue to progress on their journey of music and passion, enthralling their loving and supportive fans on their way. Masala Coffee is here to give you just the right dose of masala!

The Masala:
Masala Coffee has performed in massive events such as the Mojo Rising Music Fest in Kochi, The Hindu November Fest and the Global ISAI Fest in Chennai, The Hyderabad Arts Festival and the GoMad Festival in Ooty. The band has also been invited to international events such as the inaugural ceremony of KPL Dubai Season 3, the Malaysian Independent Live Fusion Festival in Kuala Lumpur and the Sarvesh Festival of Arts at the Victoria Hall in Singapore.
YouTube being the turning point of their musical career, Masala Coffee has recently received a silver plaque from the video streaming platform for passing 100,000 subscribers on their channel! Apart from that, Masala Coffee has over 22k followers on Instagram, and over 66.5k followers on facebook.
The band debuted into film music composition with a song in the Malayalam movie 'Hello Namasthe'. The band composed three songs for the movie 'Uriyadi' and are one of the composers for Bejoy Nambiar's 'Solo’.
Masala Coffee have also been featured in many films including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

Direction by Public Transport
Bus no. 10, 22 \ Tram 14, 18 (stop – Bouchet)
If you take the tram, walk 10 meters in the direction of the Lake, turn right into Avenue Edmond-Vaucher. About 400 meters along Avenue Edmond-Vaucher, the AULA Henri-Dunant will on the left.
Parking
There is blue zone parking on Avenue Edmond-Vaucher and paid parking (underground) is available at the AULA.
