As part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, celebration of 75 years of India’s independence, Permanent Mission of India and Consulate General of India in Geneva is organizing a virtual Panel Discussion on Role and Contribution of Indian Diaspora in Promotion of Trade and Investments in India coinciding with the celebration of Pravasi Bhartiya Diwas and Vishwa Hindi Diwas on Monday, 10th January 2022 at 1730 hrs. Further, children up to the age of 18 years are invited to participate in Essay / Painting / Poem writing or recital competitions in Hindi on the theme of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. The competition is open to all children in three categories based on age viz. (Category I) up to 6 years; (Category II) 7-10 years; and (Category III) 11-18 years. Word limit for Essays / Poems is 100 words for children up to 7-10 years, 200 words for children between 11-18 years; and children up to 6 years of age may choose the length of their entries as per their discretion. The medium of expression is Hindi only. For poem recital in Hindi, entries may be sent in MP4 format.
All participants sending entries, in each category, will be awarded Certificates of Appreciation by Ambassador/PR to the UN, and eligible winners will be awarded Certificates of Outstanding Achievement. The names of the winners will be announced at a virtual event on 10 January 2022 at 5.30 p.m. on the occasion of Vishwa Hindi Diwas.
All entries should be sent by email only to ssproj.genevapmi@mea.gov.in by 5 January 2022.
