Under the auspices of the 2022 United Nations Conference on Biodiversity, twelve internationally recognised filmmakers, Faouzi Bensaïdi (Morocco), Clemente Bicocchi (Italy), Anne de Carbuccia (France/USA), Takumã Kuikuro (Brazil/Amazonia), Oskar Metsavaht (Brazil), Eric Nazarian (Armenia/USA), Yulene Olaizola and Rubén imaz (Mexico), Bettina Oberli (Switzerland), Nila Madhab Panda (India), Janis Rafa (Greece) and Isabella Rossellini (USA), have joined forces to raise awareness on the most pressing environmental issues and to create connections between humans and animals through biodiversity, climate change, environment and water risks. Produced by NGO ART for The World, the film Interactions is a great example of cross-cultural cooperation and of how art and cinema can inspire action to protect the planet.
