On the auspicious occasion of the 79th Anniversary of India's Independence, The Permanent Mission of India, Consulate General of India in Geneva, and the Indian Association Geneva cordially invites you and your families to the flag hoisting ceremony on Friday, 15th August 2025, at 08.00 hrs at Permanent Mission of India, Avenue Appia 21, 1292 Pregny - Chambesy, Geneva
Ambassador Arindam Bagchi, Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations and other International Organizations, will hoist the national flag. The ceremony will be followed by singing of National Anthem, reading of excerpts from President of India Address and cultural programme.

Please register for the event or send an email to ssproj.genevapmi@mea.gov.in. You are requested to carry your valid passport or Swiss ID card for identification check. Further, please avoid carrying any luggage/bags/rucksacks. Guest may bring umbrellas in case it rains. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
